2003 was a "lazy" year as we appeared on stage only the
first half year due to Lorenzos exams which took place in the second
half.
The shows:
Bremen/Schlachthof; although Pietsch had threatened
us to move everything to not let us play in his town again, we managed
to sneak in behind his back. after the show Capri bar as usual.
Kassel/Spot sucked, sucks and will suck...never had a good
show there, neither a good audience.
Jena/Rosenkeller: hell yeah, the east has risen again, at
least in this beautiful town. sweaty sweaty!
Chemnitz/Atomino: the best part was the five star hotel and
its Jacuzzi.
Wiesbaden/Schlachthof: our second hometown and our favorite
audience didn't disappoint us. It will be hard to top this show
Stuttgart/Röhre: well, not so bad
München/Backstage: they moved the whole venue, nevertheless
a boring audience
Linz/Kapu: hummmmmmmmmm, very good Schweinebraten....
Graz/Explosiv: some people from slovenia showed up, we felt
important
Berlin/SO 36: wowowowowowow!
Berlin/Schokoladen: again: wowowowowowow!!!!
and the same goes for Trier/Exhaus: thanks Pelz!!!
Heidenburg/Rack am RongCops seizing every car that shows
up: BAAAD - Cops realizing that you're in the band and letting you
pass without any hassle: whew! I got very stoned that day, I guess
the show was OK, the best thing, though, was the TV set in the backstage
room and the reservoir dogs and bang boom bang DVDs. Heidelberg/Schwimmbad
incredible! the first show there(out of half a dozen) where the
audience showed some reaction, and this despite the incredible heat,
we are impressed!
Köln/Stadtgarten a benefit show for our friends at the Sonic
ballroom and Sonny Vincent is opening for us! we feel important!
Actually ( except form our gigi in the Osnic Ballroom) also the
first show in cologne where the audience didn't suck.
Hannover/Bei Chez Heinz Sommerfest an open air in a public
swimming pool, perfect! Excellent catering, a great after show disco
downstairs in the Club and really lovely people. herby we appoint
you honorary citizens of Saarbrücken Gütersloh/Alte Weberei
an incredibly hot day and the fact that the stage was situated directly
under the roof didn't comfort us very much. Unfortunately, just
36 visitors showed up; the rest missed another great band: the Minnies
from Italy. We stayed overnight at the home of the most friendly
Skinhead on earth, who not only loaded our van almost alone but
managed to put little chocolate surprises on each cushion of his
guest's beds. Nice!
Dornburg/Out of ordinary a nice open air in a neat little
village in the middle of the Westerwald. Apparently everybody over
21 has moved to the big city, so that we and the other bands (Hello
to the Bubonics!) played in front of a very young audience. the
heavy metal guy puking over the bar of the cocktail tentwas a bit
annoying, the same goes for the heavy metal DJ who filled in the
few pauses between the bands with Metallica, Slayer and other terribly
evil music.
Würzburg/Bechtolsheimer Hof Jan Ullrich is defeated by the
Amerikan Cycle Robot in the chronometrical stage on the second but
last day of Le Tour GODDAMMIT!!!!
